SPORT AGAINST WOMEN VIOLENCE

Sunday 5th May the 9th consecutive edition of StraWoman will be held at the Municipality of Lonato del Garda. The project is organized by Italia Runners, a sports company that has created the largest female tour in Italy, to say "NO to violence against women". The event is reserved for all women who want to dedicate a day to themselves and their well-being, an excellent opportunity to play sports, get to know each other, get together, share life experiences and spend a day together.

This is a non-competitive race / walk that includes ten stops in Italy. Two routes of 5 and 10 km are planned in the historic center with departure - and arrival - at 10.30 from Piazza Vittoria.

At this particular event the first three Municipalities will be awarded, which, based on the number of citizens, will bring more participants. The prize is a trophy for the Municipality and a souvenir photo for each participant of the winning Municipality.

The Municipality of Lonato also sponsors the initiative. It is possible to participate in the race without prior registration; at the time of departure the race kit will be delivered, against payment of the participation fee which is 12 euros (with pre-registration 10 euros) for adults and 10 euros (with pre-registration 8 euros) for children and teenagers up to 13 years. It is also possible to participate in groups up to a maximum of 6 participants per team.
