VILLA ANSALDI, THE PRIVATE RESIDENCE OF RENE' BENKO COULD SOON BE REPLACED ON THE REAL ESTATE MARKET

Built in the 18th century, Villa Ansaldi is a rare beauty immersed in a lush park of 10 hectares, offering an oasis of tranquility and serenity. Hosting a private chapel and a sumptuous swimming pool, Villa Ansaldi embodies elegance and refined lifestyle.
In 2010, the imposing villa attracted the attention of Austrian tycoon René Benko, the illustrious founder and owner of the renowned Signa Holding, one of Europe's leading real estate companies. Benko decided to make this sumptuous home his own, shelling out 7 million euros, an offer that captured the imagination of many. However, according to what emerged from the Brescia Prosecutor's Office, the real value of the villa could have been estimated at up to 19 million euros, a detail that has sparked controversy and debates on its true market value.
Despite the legal disputes, Villa Ansaldi has witnessed crucial events and a compelling story. Used as Mr. Benko's private residence in Italy, it also served as a sumptuous stage to represent the prestigious Signa Holding.
However, the future of the villa may be headed for a new chapter, as Signa Holding, plagued by serious economic difficulties, declared bankruptcy in November 2023. With a massive debt of 5 billion euros, the company is forced to sell many of its prestigious properties, including jewels such as the Chrysler Building in New York and the renowned Bauer Hotel in Venice.
