THE DESENZANO SUMMER PARK TURNS FIFTY YEARS
The lights come back on and the rides start up again to celebrate a very special anniversary: from 5 July to 25 August, the largest summer traveling park in Lombardy returns to Desenzano del Garda. This year, Summer Park celebrates half a century of excitement and fun in Monte Mario, near the motorway toll booth.
Since 1974, the amusement park has been a permanent fixture in Lower Garda. Grown and renovated over the years, it now covers approximately 20 thousand square meters and welcomes visitors of all ages. This year too, the Benny Bear mascot, a giant "plush toy", will welcome guests, promoting healthy, safe and inclusive fun.
The organizational machine involves around 40 families, committed to welcoming thousands of people. Security is a priority, with private guards keeping watch over the area until late in the evening on the busiest days. Classic attractions such as bumper cars and kick ass, together with the most adrenaline-filled new features, will be back in action again this year to set summer 2024 on fire.
New this summer are the rotating shuttles, a carousel that comes from Australia and reaches 20 meters in height, causing guests to spin upside down.
